Break the chains that bind, one link at a time
Peer-led and community built support groups to meet you where you are in your sobriety journey.
Our mission:
Chainbreakers is a peer-led, community-built recovery support group founded on the principles of progress over perfection, inclusivity, confidentiality, and equality.
Our mission is to provide both physical and virtual spaces where people in recovery can connect, find support, and build community without judgment. Every gathering and event will remain sober, and every member and their story will be treated with dignity and respect. We are committed to maintaining a welcoming environment where discrimination, harassment, and hateful behavior have no place.
Chainbreakers operates through a peer-driven model with no bosses, leaders, or hierarchies. We believe that everyone has value, everyone deserves to be heard, and we stand together as equals in recovery.
We believe recovery is stronger when it is built together.
Our Vision:
Chainbreakers envisions a future where everyone seeking recovery has access to a supportive community and a place where they truly belong.
As of right now, Chainbreakers meetings are held virtually. However; we believe that a physical space will come when the time is right.
Rooted in the hardcore punk scene, we would like to create a space where recovery, music, and community come together. Through meetings, shows, and other events, we hope to foster connection, creativity, and mutual support for everyone who walks through our doors.
As Chainbreakers grows, we aim to become a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization so we can continue expanding our reach and providing recovery support to those who need it most.
Our goal is not only to build community, but to become a trusted and lasting part of it. We hope to be a place where people can heal, grow, and find connection, while also serving as a positive force within the communities around us.
